The guest of honor was RI Past President Bill Boyd
2006-07 of New Zealand. Other honored guests include DG Tom Novotny and his
wife Robin; DGE Roger Schulte; DGN Doug Fowler and wife Debbie; and
DG-Designate Sylvia Whitlock. Benefactors, Major Donors and Paul Harris
Fellows all were recognized at the dinner. Las Vegas television weatherman
Kevin Janison was given a community service award and made a Paul Harris
Fellow for his community activities.
Earlier in the day, Pat
President Boyd visited West Prep school an empowerment school supported by
the Rotary Club of Las Vegas West; and visited the office of Las Vegas Mayor
Oscar Goodman, who declared Friday, March 12, William Boyd Day in Las Vegas.
