District History
The founding of the Pasadena Rotary Club in 1920 signaled the beginning of District 5300. The District now comprises 63 clubs and about 3000 members.
District 5300 takes pride in the Rotarians from the District who provide a tradition of leadership to the Rotary World. Rotarian, Jim Speers, Rotary Club of Covina served on the Board of Directors of Rotary International. Rotarian, Bill Walk, Rotary Club of Ontario, served as President of Rotary International in the 1970 Rotary year. We also salute the Past District Governors who have served District 5300.
