A number of clubs have requested help to find speakers for club meetings.  This page is a place for clubs to post information about speakers who have presented programs at their clubs.

Susan Nunnery is developing the information for this page and would appreciate comments and information about speakers who should be included.  Susan can be contacted at: spnunnery@earthlink.net

National Immunization Day
Lee Mothershead, PDG

In February of 2004 Lee (PDG '98-'99) and Therese Mothershead joined 58 other Rotarians and friends of Rotary in a National Immunization Day against polio in the state of Uttar Pradesh near Delhi, India.  Over a three-day period more than 100 million children under 5 were inoculated against polio.  Lee made a Powerpoint presentation of the immunization days, the part he and Therese and the other Rotarians played, and the progress being made in the fight against this dread disease, and will be glad to present it as a program to any Rotary club in the district FREE!  Contact Lee at 626-405-9162 or lmothers@pacbell.net. Included in the presentation are an outline of the polio problem in the world, where we are, the steps needed to succeed, and some pictorial history of just how a national immunization day is staged in India.
