Rotary TLC is a leadership training program for 8th Grade. It is sponsored by the Rotary clubs of Rotary District 5300. Students interact and participate with 144 other outstanding 8th Graders coming from throughout the San Gabriel Valley, the West End of the Inland Empire, the High Desert and Southern Nevada.

My Experience at TLC by Joseph S.
October 2002

Today I will begin again to do my best to take care of me
To control what my hands will do, the things my eyes will see
And the places that I will be

To compete with myself, to set my own pace when I’m not sure
To do my best today, a little better then the day before

To observe what I do the worst, to discover what I do the best
To take risk when I am ready regardless of all the rest

To believe in myself and overcome my fears
And remember
The person that I need to lead first is smiling back at me from the mirror
